Do dog toys need to be cleaned after they are bought?
Dog toys need to be cleaned after they are bought, because it is inevitable that there will be bacteria and chemical residues on the surface of the dog toy during the toy production process. When dogs play with toys, they often bite these toys, causing these bacteria to enter the body from the dog's mouth. So how to clean different dog toys? This article will introduce you to several methods.
1. Dry cleaning
For stuffed dog toys, you need to prepare coarse salt and a large plastic bag, and then put the stuffed toy in a bag with coarse salt. Shake vigorously so that the coarse salt is in full contact with the plush toy. Use the strong adsorption of coarse salt to remove residues on the toy surface.
2. Disinfection
This method is suitable for cleaning plastic, rubber, and nylon toys. First, soak the dog plastic toy in water, then put an appropriate amount of citric acid and salt in the water, soak it for 15 minutes, and put it in the disinfectant for dog supplies. It should be noted that most of these toys are not suitable for exposure.
Please note that the disinfectant should be diluted with water, and the disinfectant should cover the toy. Please do not use 84 disinfectant, because it contains sodium hypochlorite, which can cause damage to human skin.
